In intraday deals on BSE, Barbeque-Nation Hospitality’s stock hit the 20% upper circuit limit of Rs 767.50 apiece after the company reported revenues of Rs 226 crore in the Jan-Mar quarter of FY21.
In the March quarter of FY21, Barbeque-Nation Hospitality made a consolidated net profit of Rs 6.1 crore, compared to a loss of Rs 27 crore the previous year. On the BSE, 1.41 lakh shares have traded so far today, while the NSE has seen 11 lakh units change hands.
Barbeque Nation Hospitality raised Rs 452-crore from the issue in March 2021, which was nearly six times subscribed. The casual dining company’s shares debuted on the stock market last month at Rs 492 per share, well below the IPO price of Rs 500 per share. Barbeque-Nation Hospitality’s stock has risen 56% since its initial public offering.
During FY21, the company focused on the delivery vertical and introduced Barbeque-in-a-Box, a new product. The product was created in response to the pandemic’s rapid progression of the delivery segment.
